Same level gage in all images… the gage port centers of the level gage chamber are all shown same distance aprt… with valves oriented different ways…

causes distance between the vessel connectors of valves to vary.. Three different vessel C-C distances shown L to R, shortest to longest; Four possible configurations

1- Lower vessel connection shown at same elevation on all four pictures

2- Figure 5-7 Up and 5-7 Down require a symetrical valve body sich as Inferno 15A or FT15: most other brands of gage valves are not symetrical, they are LH and RH; also double union gage vavles are not symetrical

3- Lower gage port centers shown above are on “standard” centers which are 1.5″ longer than the visible glass
